The rich history and future growth of DieVision

beeld3 DieVision originated from Ustfa and was founded in 1948 (Utrechtse-Stansvormen Fabriek), Ustfa was one of the first die cutting tool makers in the Netherlands. As the demand for diecutting tools increased and modern production machines were ready available, Ustfa also grew. This resulted in an expansion of additional branches in the Netherlands. The first to be realised was in Eerbeek, because of Eerbeek being the corrugated centre of the Netherlands and in order to have short communication lines with customers and maintain quick on-location delivery. This vision made sure that Ustfa finally founded more branches, including establishments abroad such as in Belgium, Austria and Poland.
The name Ustfa was replaced by DieVision to create a better affiliation to these international markets. This international character does not have any consequences for our care towards customers, but offers more opportunities in the development of the die-cutting market.
The arrival of modern means of production led to a change in the production of die-cutting tools. Besides the existing lasers, plotters and CadCam systems also automatic cutting, bending and waterjet cutting machines were introduced. The handicraft of die-cutting tools has become an industrial process.
To meet the high quality demands and shorter delivery time requirements of our customers we chose centralization and specialization. This has led to a constant flow of products in the process.
Under the supervision of experts within a division, the production of diecutting tools for the folding carton industry is concentrated in the locations of Raamsdonkveer and Wormerveer. The location in Eerbeek remains the specialist in the field of solid and corrugated board, both for flat and rotary die cutting.
From Ustfa (handicraft) to DieVision (process approached) there has been a change, which has led to a new, even more specialized and more flexible organization. The supply of an overall product to the customer, which its process and efficiency improvements were made through a centralized partnership.
